Design of closed loop boost converter

A Boost converter or step-up switch mode power supply that can also be called a switch mode regulator. It steps up the input voltage to produce a higher output voltage. The popularity of a switch mode regulator is due to its high efficiency, compact size, and low cost. The pdf for the modeling of the above converter is attached with this post. Document for Design of Off Line Flyback Converter based Switching Power Supply

This paper reviews one method of enabling a discontinuous−mode flyback converter to operate beyond its traditional range of input voltage of 3:1 to a range of more than 6.6:1 without affecting the reliability of its operation. This is done by changing its mode of operation and the use of recently available power MOSFETs with breakdown voltage ratings of 1,200 V.
